La prospettiua pratica
A practical treatise on perspective by Bernardino Contino, printed in Venice in 1645 for painters, architects and craftsmen learning to construct measured views. The plates are engraved line diagrams: vanishing-point ray fans, lettered reference points, gridded picture planes, receding colonnades and a few solids shaded in flat black, usable as geometric line art, technical ornament, or ready-made grid and perspective frameworks.
