L'architetto prattico : in cui con facilta si danno le regole per apprendere l'architettura civile
A practical handbook of civil architecture by the Sicilian priest-architect Giovanni Biagio Amico, printed in Palermo in 1726 for masons, surveyors and building contractors, with plates engraved by Antonio Gramignani, Domenico La Bruna and Bernardo Bongiovanni. The illustrations are sparse copperplate line diagrams: centralized church plans with piers and vaulting lines, perspective and shadow constructions with ruled sight lines, stairs and coffered ceilings, all keyed by italic letters and figure numbers, useful as fine-line geometric ornament and technical-drawing reference.
