L'architettvra
An Italian architectural treatise by the Sienese architect Pietro Cataneo, printed in Venice in 1567 for builders, military engineers, and patrons. The woodcuts are line diagrams and plans: lettered geometric constructions with tick-marked arcs and diagonals, measured wall sections in outline and hatching, and fortification and building plans, usable as spare technical linework and letter-annotated figures.
