L'art decoratif dans le vieux Paris
Alfred de Champeaux's 1898 survey of decorative art in old Paris, published by C. Schmid for architects, ornament designers, and students of French interiors. Line engravings and drawings record panelled rooms, carved doors, chimneypiece walls, and stucco ceilings of the 17th and 18th centuries, supplying rococo cartouches, trophy panels, scrolled overdoors, and trellis diaper patterns usable as borders or frames.
