Later magic
A conjuring manual by Professor Hoffmann (Angelo Lewis), published 1904 in New York and London for stage magicians and amateur performers. Line engravings explain sleights and apparatus: pointing hands, cuffed wrists gripping wands, cross-hatched bowls, table pedestals with hidden levers, lettered parts and dotted leader lines—useful as cutaway diagrams, instructional hand gestures, and hatching textures.
