A wood type specimen catalogue issued in 1874 by Wm. H. Page & Co. of Greeneville, Connecticut, printed in color by Wade's Ink to show job printers the chromatic display faces and border strips they could buy. Each plate sets a few oversized letters or short words in two- and three-color overlays, shaded, tuscan and ornamented, framed by repeating border patterns in red, gold, green and blue.
