[Incomplete text on letter magic]
An incomplete Arabic manuscript on letter magic, copied around 1700 and now held by Columbia University Libraries, compiled for practitioners of talisman-making and the occult science of letters. Pages pair the Arabic alphabet with rows of cipher signs in red and black, plus ruled correspondence tables; useful for invented alphabets, sigil forms, and hand-drawn grid layouts.
