An antiquarian corpus of the ancient inscriptions of Palermo, compiled and annotated by Prince Gabriele Lancillotto Castello di Torremuzza under the patronage of the Palermo Senate and printed there in 1762 for scholars and civic patrons. Engravings reproduce Greek, Punic and Latin lettering on worn stone slabs, alongside headpieces combining coins, medallions, laurel wreaths, altars, temple facades and caducei on masonry grounds.
