Leçons de perspective positive
A perspective manual by the French architect and engraver Jacques Androuet du Cerceau, printed in Paris by Mamert Patisson for builders, masons and draughtsmen learning to construct measured views. Each numbered plate stacks a finished ink-line building — colonnades, stairways, moated round châteaux — above its plan and its ruled convergence diagram, offering skeletal grids, tiled floor patterns and small standing figures for scale.
