Leçons de perspective positive
A treatise of fifty perspective lessons by the French architect Jacques Androuet du Cerceau, printed in Paris by Mamert Patisson in 1576 for architects, masons and draughtsmen. Engraved plates pair numbered plans and elevations with fans of construction lines converging on vanishing points, yielding coffered vaults, staircase blocks, open colonnades and tiled pavements usable as line-art diagrams or architectural ornament.
