Le conservateur de la vue ..
A French treatise on eyesight and optical aids by Parisian optician Jean-Gabriel-Augustin Chevallier, published in Paris in 1810 for physicians, opticians and spectacle buyers. Numbered copperplate figures show spectacles, lorgnettes and microscope parts in flat profile, with hatched lenses, ribbed frames and small exploded fittings — usable as period optical diagrams or engraved object silhouettes.
