Le Livre secret des grands exorcismes et be?ne?dictions ;
A French manual of exorcisms, blessings and healing prayers compiled by the abbé Julio (Ernest Houssay) and published by the author at Vincennes in 1908 for lay devotional and folk-magic use. Hand-coloured plates show circular talismans ringed with invented occult script: pentagram and hexagram medallions, an eye inside a triangle, IHS and floral mosaics in red, blue and ochre within ruled borders.
