A French museum catalogue and historical survey of decorated fabrics, compiled by Raymond Cox for the Chambre de commerce de Lyon's Musée historique des tissus and published in Lyon in 1902 for manufacturers, designers and textile scholars. The plates redraw woven silk and tapestry patterns in flat black line on cream, with dotted circles and axes exposing the repeat geometry behind griffins, lions, hunters and vine borders, alongside a gallery floor plan and a lion stamped on cloth binding.
