Le pantalon féminin
Pierre Dufay's Le pantalon féminin, published in Paris in 1916 by the Librairie des Bibliophiles parisiens, is a costume history of women's drawers and underwear for book collectors. Pen-and-ink drawings show women at dressing tables and mirrors in chemises, corsets and stockings, with hatched shadows, patterned wallpaper and bentwood chairs supplying period lingerie detail and single-figure interior vignettes.
