Le peintre-graveur illustré : (xix et xx siècles)
Loys Delteil's illustrated catalogue raisonné of nineteenth- and twentieth-century printmakers, self-published in Paris from 1906 for collectors, dealers and print scholars. The 160 plates reproduce etchings, drypoints and lithographs at small scale, mostly village streets, farm buildings, bare trees and riverbanks rendered in loose scratchy hatching with heavy dark passages against blank paper, useful for line textures, roof and wall silhouettes, and thumbnail landscape vignettes.
