A study of Brussels faience by Georges Dansaert, published in Brussels by G. van Oest in 1922 for collectors, curators and ceramics historians. The plates are halftone photographs of tin-glazed earthenware against dark grounds — tureens, oval jardinieres, shell-shaped dishes, animal-head handles and sherds — showing painted floral sprays, scrollwork cartouches and armorial medallions usable as motif references or as isolated silhouettes.
