Les arts en Toscane sous Napoléon : la princesse Élisa
Paul Marmottan's 1901 study, published in Paris, of art patronage in Tuscany under Napoleon's sister Élisa Baciocchi, written for historians and collectors of the Empire period. Halftone plates show neoclassical marble busts and seated allegorical statues, cathedral facades and garden terraces, and long barrel-vaulted galleries lined with paintings, useful for period interiors, sculpture silhouettes and architectural backdrops.
