Les Emblemes d'amovr divin et hvmain ensemble. Expliquez par des vers françois
A French emblem book of divine and human love, written by an anonymous Capuchin friar with verse commentary and published in Paris by Pierre Mariette around 1600. The 122 small engravings pair a radiant winged Amor Divinus with a child-sized soul figure in plain landscapes, giving designers halo bursts, cast-down bows and arrows, and compact vignettes with wide blank ground.
