A 1906 American Book Company school edition of Jules Verne's 1867 adventure novel Les enfants du capitaine Grant, edited by Edith Healy for American students reading French. The plates run to an engraved locator map of Patagonia and the Argentine Republic with hatched coastlines and French place names, a photographic portrait of Verne at his desk, and the Harvard Veritas library seal, giving designers period cartography, an author likeness, and a heraldic roundel.
