Les niches d'autel du XIIe siècle dans les Soissonnais
A French archaeological monograph by Eugène Lefèvre-Pontalis, printed at Caen by H. Delesques in 1913, cataloguing twelfth-century altar niches in the churches of the Soissonnais for antiquarians and students of medieval architecture. The plates pair fine pen elevations of pointed arches, clustered shafts and foliate capitals over ruled ashlar and paving with solid-black measured plans and scale bars, giving designers both hatched architectural line work and high-contrast poché silhouettes.
