Les origines de la statique
Pierre Duhem's Les origines de la statique, a two-volume history of medieval and Renaissance mechanics published in Paris by A. Hermann in 1905 for scholars of science and philosophy. The figures are plain line diagrams redrawn from early treatises: lettered triangles, radii and chords, circles with tangent lines, and lever schematics usable as spare geometric marks or endpapers.
