Les papyrus magiques grecs de Paris
A scholarly edition of the Greek magical papyri in Paris, edited by the Norwegian philologist Samson Eitrem and published in Kristiania (Oslo) in 1923 for classicists and historians of ancient religion. The plates are photographic facsimiles of torn papyrus sheets carrying columns of Greek cursive, with sketchy ink figures including a standing man and a horse-headed deity; useful for ragged edges, fibre texture and handwritten script.
