Lesser Ury
A German monograph on the Berlin painter and printmaker Lesser Ury, written by Lothar Brieger and published by Verlag Neue Kunsthandlung in 1921 for collectors and art readers. The plates reproduce drypoints, lithographs and dark tonal drawings of wet city streets, lamplit pavements, cafe interiors, boats and hunched solitary figures, useful for smudged charcoal texture, reflected-light effects and heavy black-and-white contrast.
