Les états superficiels de l'hypnose

Rochas d'Aiglun, Albert de, 1837-1914 · 1893 · Paris : Chamuel · 2 pictures

Albert de Rochas d'Aiglun's 1893 French study of light hypnotic states, published in Paris by Chamuel for physicians, psychical researchers and occultists. The plates are line facsimiles of handwriting made by hypnotized subjects under suggestion — cursive phrases, forged signatures of named people, a pointing-hand flourish — set on tinted paper, plus a small engraved vignette of a winged open book with olive branches and ribbon; useful as script specimens, autograph textures and a tailpiece ornament.
