Angelo Secchi's Les étoiles, a French treatise on sidereal astronomy issued in Paris by F. Alcan in 1895 for readers following stellar spectroscopy and observation. Line-engraved geometric figures show circles, sight lines and lettered points plotting eclipses, shadow cones and orbital angles on warm paper, useful as sparse technical line art, ray diagrams and labelled circle constructions.
