Guglielmo Della Valle's letters on the fine arts of Siena, published in Venice by Giovambatista Pasquali in 1782 for antiquarians and academy readers. Engraved plates record medieval arches with inscribed bands and carved capitals, classical porticoes with steps and a seated lion, plus woodcut headpieces of scrolling acanthus — usable as line ornament, architectural profiles, and lettering models.
