Lettres sur l'électricité : dans lesquelles on examine les dernieres découvertes qui ont été faites sur cette matiére & les conséquences que l'on en peut tirer
Letters on electricity by the abbé Jean Antoine Nollet, printed in Paris in 1753 by Guerin and Delatour, addressing Benjamin Franklin's experiments for readers of natural philosophy. The pictures are the book's typographic furniture: woodcut headbands and tailpieces of acanthus scrolls, flower baskets, daisies and lilies, and ribbon bows, printed in coarse black line on toned paper and usable as symmetrical rules, spot ornaments and frame corners.
