A 1761 French imaginary-voyage novel by Daniel Jost de Villeneuve, printed in Amsterdam at the editor's expense, sending its narrator to another world for a satirical utopia aimed at literate Enlightenment readers. The scanned pages yield a line-engraved oval armorial bookplate with three stars, chevron and scrollwork, plus red-brown Spanish marbled endpapers usable as heraldic stamp, crest lettering, or mottled texture.
