Light energy, its physics, physiological action and therapeutic applications
A 1904 medical and physical treatise by Margaret Abigail Cleaves, published in New York by Rebman, explaining light and radiation and their use in phototherapy for physicians and electrotherapeutists. The plates mix lettered line diagrams of vacuum tubes, electrodes and spark gaps with tonal engravings of laboratory apparatus such as mirror stands and lamp fittings, useful for keyed technical schematics, glassware silhouettes and cast-iron instrument bases.
