A monthly technical journal of the Illuminating Engineering Society and the Association of Public Lighting Engineers, published in London from 1908 for lighting engineers, architects and municipal officials. Halftone photographs, many masked into circles, compare the same desk, drawing office or shop interior under different lamps and shades, giving designers grainy studies of pooled light, cast shadow and dark room corners.
