Lincolniana book plates and collections
A small 1913 collector's volume edited by Alfred Fowler and printed in Kansas City, gathering American bookplates and private collections devoted to Abraham Lincoln for bibliophiles and Lincoln enthusiasts. The plates are line-engraved ex libris designs: oval Lincoln portraits in dense hatching, framed by scrolled cartouches, ribbon banners, laurel and oak wreaths, and stacked books, useful as label frames and portrait medallions.
