An antiquarian history of the Roman church of San Giovanni a Porta Latina, written by Giovanni Mario Crescimbeni with plates engraved by Nicola Oddi, printed in Rome by Antonio de' Rossi in 1716 for clergy and church antiquaries. Copperplate elevations, sections and plans of chapels and portals sit alongside a papal arms cartouche and drawn monogram initials, giving measured architectural line and heraldic ornament.
