Léonard Limosin et les émailleurs français
A French art-historical monograph by Pierre Lavedan on Léonard Limosin and the enamel painters of Limoges, published in Paris by Renouard in 1913 for students and collectors of Renaissance decorative art. The halftone plates reproduce painted enamel plaques and dishes: saints and Passion scenes in heavy drapery, an oval platter ringed with putti and framing a coat of arms, grisaille figures against dark grounds, and grotesque-filled borders with medallions.
