The luck of the Dudley Grahams : as related in extracts from Elizabeth Graham's diary
A 1907 juvenile novel by Alice Calhoun Haines, published by Henry Holt in New York and told as a girl's diary, illustrated by Francis Day for young American readers. The wash-and-charcoal plates show girls in blouses, jumpers and long skirts posed against loose gray backgrounds, plus a homemade windmill rig — usable as period costume figures and soft tonal vignettes.
