L'usage des globes celestes et terrestres, et des spheres, suivant les differens systemes du monde; précedé d'un Traité de cosmographie
Nicolas Bion's French manual on the use of celestial and terrestrial globes and armillary spheres, with a treatise on cosmography, printed by François Halma in Amsterdam in 1700 for students of geography and navigation. Copperplate folding plates combine orbital diagrams, eclipse schemes, zone-marked globes and a radiant human-faced sun with draped figures kneeling over books and instruments.
