L'uvre de De Cuvilliès : époque Louis XV : nouveau livre de plafonds
A portfolio of Rococo interior designs by the Bavarian court architect François de Cuvilliés and his son, reissued around 1900 in Paris by Armand Guérinet as a plate book for architects, decorators and craftsmen. The engravings show wall elevations, panelled doors, ceilings and console tables drawn in fine line, with C-scroll cartouches, trailing flower sprays, putti and shell crests framing large blank panels ready for text or image.
