A Dutch pattern book of garden ornament by G. van Laar, published in Amsterdam by Jacobus de Ruyter in 1802 for owners and builders of large and small pleasure gardens on modest budgets. Hand-coloured engraved plates show pavilions, gates and seats in elevation: brick and rustic timber, trellis lattice, Gothic arches, thatched and tented roofs, with plate numbers and light washes.
