Magazijn van tuin-sieraaden, of, Verzameling van modellen van aanleg en sieraad, voor groote en kleine lust-hoven, voorn amelijk van dezulke die, met weinig kosten, te maaken zijn
A Dutch pattern book of garden ornament and layout, compiled by Gijsbert van Laar and published by Jacobus de Ruyter in Amsterdam in 1802 for owners and makers of large and small pleasure grounds on modest budgets. The hand-coloured engravings pair overhead plans of winding paths and island beds with small elevations and views of garden buildings — a classical doorway with laurel wreath, a mock Gothic ruin, a rustic thatched hut by water — giving designers plan-view path diagrams, follies and ornament motifs in soft washes of green, buff and brick red.
