A bound volume from the Manly Palmer Hall collection of alchemical, Hermetic and Masonic manuscripts (1500–1825), copied and compiled by European occult practitioners and collectors and now at the Getty Research Institute. The scanned pages here are hand-marbled endpapers in red, black and brown, with combed and swirled ripples, vein-like dark seams and a red leather corner and spine edge — usable as seamless background fields, book-arts texture, or source material for repeat patterns.
