Manly Palmer Hall collection of alchemical manuscripts, 1500-1825
A gathering of handwritten alchemical and Hermetic manuscripts in Latin and European vernaculars, copied between about 1500 and 1825 and assembled by the American occult writer Manly Palmer Hall, now at the Getty Research Institute. The pages here are brown iron-gall ink on laid paper: fraction tables, ruled columns, arrow-marked geometric diagrams, planetary and metal sigils, and a stick figure doodled among the digits.
