An Italian architectural handbook by Giovanni Branca, revised and reissued in Modena in 1789 by the Società tipografica with plates by Giuseppe Maria Soli, made for builders and students learning the classical orders. The engraved plates show cornices, fluted columns, bases, capitals and arcades in elevation and section, ruled with dotted measuring lines, module figures and letter keys, printed in brown ink; useful for hatching textures, proportion diagrams and labelled construction drawing.
