The manual of reference of the textile workers of America
A trade reference compiled by Thomas P. Cahill and published at Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1896 for mill hands, overseers and machinery buyers in the American textile industry. Engravings show belt-driven drilling and spinning machines in sharp line and stipple, plus multi-storey brick factories with smokestacks, horse wagons and street corners rendered in fine hatching.
