Manual training in the grades
A 1913 woodworking manual by Frank Halstead, issued by D. C. Heath in Boston and New York for grade-school teachers and pupils. The plates are dimensioned working drawings of simple projects—front, side and end elevations with wood grain shaded in, screw callouts, fractional-inch measurements and hand-lettered labels—useful for technical-drawing textures, measurement notation and grain-pattern line work.
