Manufacturing and laboratory tests to produce an improved cotton airplane fabric
A 1920 U.S. Department of Agriculture technical report by Fred Taylor and D. E. Earle on mill trials and laboratory testing of cotton fabric for airplane wing covering, written for textile manufacturers and government engineers. The plates are tensile test charts: ruled grids with stress-strain curves climbing to break points marked w and f, and typeset load figures in pounds along the axes.
