Materials and documents of architecture and sculpture : classified alphabetically
A trade plate portfolio of measured architectural and sculptural details, arranged alphabetically by element and captioned in four languages, reissued in Chicago by G. Broes Van Dort in 1915 for architects, builders and draughtsmen. Engraved plates pair elevations with sections of doors, cornices, balconies, keystones and carved cartouches, each sheet framed by ribbon-banner headings that supply ready ornament, scrollwork and label frames.
