A plate portfolio of architectural and sculptural ornament, arranged alphabetically by element, reissued in Chicago by G. Broes Van Dort Co. in 1915 for architects, draughtsmen and carvers to copy from. The plates reproduce carved friezes, panels, capitals and mouldings in halftone and line, each labelled with its building and period, with hand-lettered French captions and ruled frames along the margins; useful as ready-made borders, repeating foliate strips and grotesque heads.
