A local booster supplement issued by the McLeansboro Times in 1910, compiled by M. E. Daniel to show the southern Illinois town's houses, churches, businesses and leading citizens. The plates are halftone photographs: oval and rectangular studio portraits of men in dark suits and high collars, plus street views, storefronts and frame dwellings, useful for period portrait vignettes and small-town architecture.
