Mechanica, siue, Motus scientia analytice exposita
Euler's Latin treatise on analytic mechanics, printed in 1736 by the press of the Imperial Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg for mathematicians and physicists. The engraved folding plates hold numbered geometric figures — parabolic arcs, tangents, radii and lettered points on baselines — usable as line diagrams, ornament from technical drawing, or period mathematical lettering.
