Mechanics of the household
Mechanics of the household, a 1912 American technical manual by Edward Spencer Keene on domestic heating, lighting, plumbing and appliances, written for engineering students and householders. The plates are pasted line drawings with handwritten figure numbers: gas lamp branch piping, ranked battery cells, and a sectioned pump with valve and handwheel, useful as clean outline diagrams of fixtures and fittings.
