An 1892 Paris auction catalogue from Hôtel Drouot, printed by E. Ménard et Cie, listing the old master and modern paintings of the late critic Théophile Thoré-Bürger for dealers and collectors at the December sale. The scanned pages here are the binding's marbled endpapers: dense blue grounds with olive, red and cream cells, comb-drawn swirls and spattered veins, usable as tiling textures, cover stock and full-bleed backgrounds.
